Beefy’s Great Forget Me Not Walk’ on Saturday 10th April 2010

Join Sir Ian Botham as he celebrates 25 years of walking for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Joined by Pontin’s bluecoats he will be stepping out on ‘Beefy’s Great Forget Me Not Walk’ in April 2010.

Beefy will be walking for ten consecutive days through ten different towns including Manchester, Birmingham, Worcester, Bristol, Winchester, Epsom, Reading, Milton Keynes, Chelmsford and London.

Pontin’s has teamed up with Leukaemia Research, the only UK charity solely dedicated to fi nding better treatments and cures for leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers. During the whole of 2010 we will be raising money for the charity as it marks its 50th anniversary.

The charity was formed in 1960 by a family who lost their daughter to leukaemia. Although great progress has been made too many families still lose a loved one to a blood cancer. Together, Pontin’s and Leukaemia Research want to make sure that more families stay together.
